Belgium (Antwerp based) - requires travelling
Lead your team towards operational excellence
You will lead and manage an international team of 20 people with Customer Service Operations assignments in the Northern Area (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, BeNeLux, Poland, Czech Republic, UK, Ireland and others). You will contribute to the development of regional demand strategy and ensure local execution to meet business objectives. You will supervise and monitor customer service order-to-cash processes and sub-processes throughout the Northern Area. You will ensure clarity of goals and responsibilities and provide guidance and coaching for your people in relevant aspects of their job. You will visit important customers in the Northern Area to understand how the company can continue to improve its service. You will identify process failures and optimize the way of doing business with customers to secure preferred supplier status and competitive advantage. You work closely with the Commercial and Manufacturing teams to ensure the organization and tools are in place to support the business.

Your key skills
You have a Master’s degree (Business Administration or similar) and a proven record of at least 5 years in Customer Service Operations Management. The experience of working in a large matrix multinational organisation is certainly a plus. You are a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are known to be well focused and organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with associated deadlines for deliverable results. Your international orientation is proven by your fluency in English (and preferably also in German) as well as by your willingness to relocate to Antwerp (Belgium) and to travel 50 % of your time. You are highly mobile and besides business travel are also open for relocation in the future.You may also have the advantage of being multilingual (German, French, Dutch, Polish, etc.), with good cross-cultural awareness and strong IT skills.
