From our offices in Denmark, USA, Germany and China, MAKE provides clients worldwide
with independent and professional advice about the wind industry. We consult our clients
through market entry strategies, supply chain assessments and M&A projects, serving
customers spanning the entire value chain: manufacturers of components and wind turbines,
utilities and financial investors. We also publish research products to a wide range of
subscribers who wish to stay abreast of the latest development in the industry. In all our work
we rely on the integrity, insight, experience and skills of our team, and we are currently
seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Analyst to be located in Shanghai, China.
Primary objectives
Develop and maintain strong data systems and models, including harvesting and
maintaining data
Ownership of specific models and forecasts
Collect data to be used in research publications
Ensure adequate data availability in user-friendly systems to be used for executing
high standard research publications
Primary tasks
Research publications
o Provide basic models and graphics
Data monitoring and systems
o Ownership and maintenance of specific data models
o Monitor and collect relevant data from turbine OEMs, component suppliers
and asset owners
Candidate profile
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, will have the capability to succeed in a high
pressure work environment, and possess the necessary drive and determination to learn and
develop his/her knowledge and abilities. Comfort working against deadlines is essential.
It is preferred that the candidate holds a master’s degree in a relevant field of study
combined with relevant experience within the wind energy sector. The candidate must be an
excellent networker, have exceptional business communication skills – oral and written - and
must display the utmost professionalism, as required to serve our clients, many of which are
the leading companies in the renewable energy industry. This position requires fluency in
both oral and written Mandarin and English and command of Microsoft Office.
