Have you got what it takes to secure a successful launch across the U.S.? Then you just might be LEGO Education’s new Business Driver. You will join the Innovation and Robotics team that is responsible for the LEGO Group’s robotics business including global strategies for business development, partnership development, marketing, markets and product development. The position is based in Billund, Denmark and you can look forward to around 30 days of international travel per year - and you will gain a large and global network.

The LEGO Group is a global market leader of Robotics Tool Sets targeted at young children from age 7 to adult fans, including tech enthusiasts and primary school teachers. Our main robotics product is LEGO MINDSTORMS.

Drive a successful launch on the U.S. market

You will be business and marketing lead for our new venture covering guidelines for how to use our robotics products to best advantage. As Business Driver, you will manage the project and prepare the launch and consequently you will launch the product in the U.S. Throughout the process, you will continuously learn from the market and adapt accordingly. After a successful launch in the U.S., you will drive launches in the rest of the world and include more product lines in your portfolio. A key task will be to keep a check on the top and bottom lines.

You will cooperate closely with internal and external partners in ensuring the optimal business model – and you will keep corporate management and other stakeholders up to date. In this connection, you will use your knowledge of buying behaviour to ensure that products and prices match the actual demand.

Sales, marketing and business development acumen

You have an MSc in Business Administration or similar, backed by 5-10 years of strong performance in marketing and business development in B-to-C or B-to-B in an international company. With your entrepreneurial skills, personal impact, drive and excellent collaboration and communication skills, you are adept at cooperating with colleagues and external partners from all over the world. Last, but not least you should have a strong track record and be fluent in written and spoken English.
