Greenland voted massively Tuesday in favor of self-rule in a referendum that paves the way for independence from Denmark and gives it rights to lucrative Arctic resources as well as control over justice and police affairs and, to a certain extent, foreign affairs. It would go as far as to say the controlling right over resources enables local people to exploit the resources at their disposal and get close to their alluring dream of making profit independently. Greenland travel and commerce authority noted the investors from all over the world including China are welcome in Greenland for resources cooperation.
