With reference to the Business Support Manager, Sterigenics Denmark A / S is looking for a dedicated and persistent employee to a position as Business Support.

Sterigenics International is the world's largest supplier of sterilizing and ionisation services within health care, food and high tech industry. Sterigenics has over 1,200 employees spread over 39 service centers in 10 countries and offers the only enterprise solutions for all leading sterilization methods such as. Gamma ETO (ethylene oxide), electromagnetic radiation heat and X-ray. Sterigenics Denmark was established in 2002 using an electron accelerator (E-beam) for sterilization and irradiation of medical devices and other materials. It also provides advice and microbiological testing for customers in the Scandinavian and Northern European market. There are 26 employees in Denmark, who works very closely with the headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.

Responsibilities would be:

• To provide technical support, develop new methods, development and leadership within Sterigenics and towards customers to achieve agreed project and commercial targets.
• To coordinate and manage validation of customer products.
• Ensure new and existing sterilization and irradiation processes are established/optimized to be efficient for Sterigenics and the Customer.
• Close contact to customers during validation and optimization projects.
• To write and agree validation protocols with customer and Sterigenics staff functions.
• Ensure Qualification and irradiation process are performed in accordance with relevant Regulatory requirements and our quality system.
• To keep customer files up-to-date.
• To assist new projects execution and develop opportunities relating to non-routine processing.
• Manage and execute Operational Qualification activities.
• Develop technical credibility and leadership towards customers and within Sterigenics.
• To maintain (and to improve) customer relations through pro-active communication.
• Ensure sales opportunities are maximized through.
• Comprehensive sterilization validation.
• Associated testing services.
• Re-validation programme.
• Regulatory framework.
• Coordinate quotations with the Sales team.
• To communicate complaints, deviations, NC´s etc. to QA Manager.
• To report on a regular basis to General Manager / Area Sales Manager./ Corporate Management.
• Deal directly with customers regarding technical and qualification issues.
• Interact with Production, technical team and QA.

Knowledge/education and training:

• Science Graduate preferred Physics/ Nuclear Physics or Technical Engineer.

Experience/skills:

• Excellent English skills both in written and spoken.
• 3rd language is an asset.

Experience in a similar function in Radiation industry, experience of validation process or some project management, experience in dealing with external customers in a scientific environment, experience in operating in a regulated environment would also be useful.
