实习工作算不算工作时间？

要申请永居，如果所学的专业里有2 年的实习期， 这2 年的时间算不算工作时间？

额，，，，工作期间生小孩休产假也不算呀，，，，那如果一旦产假休了超过半年，那岂不是工作时间要从头算了？！！！
