Located in the beautiful center of the city of Bergen, Norway, we currently own 2 of the most popular restaurants in the City and are opening a new Sushi restaurant with plans to open a further 5 restaurants shortly. Our flagship restaurant, China Palace, sits in the middle of the famous city and is extremely popular with locals and tourists all year round.

We are looking for 5 hard working Sushi / Wok chefs with a passion for excellence.
Startdate as soon as possible.

Due to the success of our current restaurants we are expanding, and opening a new Sushi restaurant in the city center. To open this restaurant we are looking for 3 Sushi Chefs with a passion to learn and excel within the industry. You will be working in a high tempo environment and must be able to handle pressure. All relevant experience and education is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare beautiful and delicious Sushi in an open environment
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness

Requirements:

- Experience working with Sushi an advantage
- Relevant education an advantage
- Ability to work at a fast pace often under pressure
- Physically fit
- Applicants should be comfortable with working in front of customers
- Honest and reliable

We Offer:

- 130-160 NOK pr hour (12-15 GBP) about 300 000 NOK (27000 GBP)

In addition to Sushi chefs we are also looking for 2 Wok Chefs to work in our flagship restaurant, China Palace.

These chefs must have experience and an understanding of how to Wok and work in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities;

- Wok food to good taste and top standard
- Prepare and cut vegetables and meat

Wages: NOK 145 - 160 per hour (NOK 20000 - 30000 per month)

Position demands:

The applicant must have experience in making high quality sushi. Applicant must have EU passport.

Housing:

Company will help with accommodation.

Family:

The employer will assist you if you bring your family.
