Responsibilities and tasks
•Structure and process design and improvement including outside and inside of the whole wind turbine (hub, nacelle, tower). However, you can focus on some aspects not all of the structure.
Change appearance or structure according to your experience, make appearance looks more quality and structure performance better.
•Process improvement
Pay more attention to the process,
a) make suppliers more convenient to produce or process parts such as hub/ shaft/ frame
b) make the workers feel more convenient, when assembling or disassembling components or parts
c) make engineers feel more comfortable when trying to solve a problem inside the wind turbine
•Participate in discussions when faults arise
According to fault information in the entire wind farm. The main faults are analyzed and discussed
•Communication with suppliers
Increase and improve communication with suppliers.
Qualifications and work experience•Many years experience in the leading companies in the wind industry
•MSc. in engineering or equivalent
•Experience with detailed mechanical design
•Experience with new product development
•Experience with handling suppliers, consultants and team members
•Experience with documentation
•Experience with interfaces to certification body
•Fluent in English (oral and written)
•Expected travel activity approx. 90 days in China
