Our Innovation Department is looking for Technology Scouts to boost ourfront end innovation capabilities to help securing the long term futureof LM Glasfiber.

The main missions of the role are:
• To stay updated on new developments (internal and external) withinone or more of our key competence areas: aerodynamics, structuraldesign, materials and wind turbine blade production.
• Coordinate and combine knowledge to create new break through business opportunities together with our internal staff.
• Inform our technical staff about new technological findings thatcould give us competitive advantages, new patents and break throughinnovations.
• Help our staff to achieve their innovative goals.

Day to day activities:
• Keep contact to researchers and innovators around the world to gatherthe latest knowledge and developments before our competitors.
• Create new business cases based on new break through innovation ideas.
• Participate in brain storms, coordinate new technological findings, find or create new patent opportunities.

Special activities
• Participate in upstart of new innovative projects.
• Participate in idea evaluations.

Internal/external communication tasks:
• External contact to suppliers, universities, researchers and inventors.
• Internal contact to mainly our technical staff in R&D, Production Equipment and Automation.

10-30 travelling days per year are to be expected.

Qualifications:
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry.
• Experience.
• Excellent social skills and good communication skills on all organizational levels and cultural backgrounds.
• English as a working language.
