The pharmaceutical industry is developing at a rapid pace and to maintain our world leading position, LEO Pharma is looking for a strategic and yet pragmatic manager to help us set up and run a new department.

The position holds a unique opportunity to build up and shape our new Business Intelligence department in a time defined by expansion and truly demanding market challenges. The position will call for your strong ability to put Business Intelligence on the agenda and develop the future strategy in the area.


About the job
The new Business Intelligence department will be part of our newly formed area, Health Outcomes, and you will be a part of the functional management team. Your first task will be to hire two new employees to make the manager level in your unit complete.

As Head of Business Intelligence, you will have the overall responsibility of three areas: Analysis & Forecasting, Market Research and Competitive Intelligence. Your key responsibility will be to unite the three areas and develop strategies which integrate business intelligence across LEO Pharma. You will be responsible for:

• IMS account
• market share reports
• forecasting models
• coordinating all market research within LEO Pharma
• competitor overviews

We offer you an exciting position in one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies within dermatology. The position is based at LEO Pharma's headquarters near Copenhagen, Denmark. You will cooperate closely with colleagues in our affiliates across the world as well as in our headquarters.


Your qualifications
The ideal candidate:

• is strategic, business oriented and has high analytical skills
• has a relevant degree within business or other relevant background
• preferably more than 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence
• has managerial experience
• has knowledge and proven experience within analysis & forecasting and/or competitive intelligence
• is flexible with respect to travelling
• works well across disciplines

On the professional level, you are a strategist with strong analytical skills and financial awareness who can make decisions and initiate action. You can set directions based on strategy and engage others with a clear direction, goals and targets by motivating and empowering. You are a strong communicator, and your influencing skills will help you to gain commitment from the business and other stakeholders. On the personal level, you are outgoing and comfortable with cooperating and communicating across educational, geographical and cultural boarders.
