Department
It is important for Vestas Towers A/S that all of our Suppliers deliver products of required high quality and that we are in control of this. Therefore we are searching for a Manager to Supplier Quality for Vestas Towers A/S’s Headquarter in Varde. The position is a newly established position.

Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Manager for Supplier Quality your overall responsibility will be to create and maintain the right Supplier Quality Management organisation. This results the following responsibilities and tasks:
• Focus on establishing the right combination of quality assurance, prevention and control in terms of supplied components
• Participate in development of the overall Quality Assurance System for suppliers in Vestas.
• Secure Health, Safety and Environment in relation to suppliers
• Ensure supplier performance transparency and implement PPAP
• Manage and support factories and suppliers on component quality
• Execute and conduct continuous improvement activities

Qualifications and Work Experience
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the area above tasks and responsibilities, but your educational background for this position can be diverse. Presumably you have the following characteristics:
• Understand Quality Assurance standards and procedures
• Able to manage and develop a department of 10 – 20 people working globally and mostly out of office
• Good at English both in written and orally
• Knowledge of Six Sigma
• Firm, concrete and see solutions instead of problems

Additional Information
Primary workplace is at Vestas Towers A/S - Varde in Denmark, but 60 international travel days a year must be expected.
