PR & Event Consultant, Bang & Olufsen

The established lifestyle brand Bang & Olufsen is searching for a PR & Event Consultant to work in the headquarter in Struer, Denmark.

Department

Corporate Communication is part of Bang & Olufsen’s International Marketing department.

International PR, which is an important part of Corporate Communications, is in contact with the national and international press via Bang & Olufsen’s national sales organizations. In close co-operation with the national sales organizations, International PR organizes press trips/events and develops press kits, e.g. to be used in connection with product launches.

Job Purpose

Copywriting of corporate press releases and planning/execution of PR activities and events globally.

Task specification

Copywriting of corporate press releases within all business areas (Audio-Video, Enterprise, Automotive etc.)
Copywriting of corporate stories to the website www.bang-olufsen.dk
Planning and execution of journalist visits to Struer and international PR events in close co-operation with the national sales organizations and employees at all levels in the headquarter
Supporting the national sales organizations in all PR matters
Arranging product loans, e.g. for brand events
Updating the international PR-plan
Writing bi-weekly news mails to the responsible PR persons in the national sales organizations
Monitoring press coverage

Qualifications

Several years of experience within the field of PR
Experienced copywriter, preferably with press releases
Excellent English skills – written and oral
Experienced in planning and executing PR events
Creative thinking
Passionate about developing new event concepts
Brand image conscious with an eye for the details
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Highly energized and independent with excellent inter-personal skills
A flexible team player who can take on all kinds of tasks to make things happen
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
