1706 E-commerce Customer Intelligence & Web-Analyst

We are currently looking for a highly skilled web-analyst to join our newly set up central e-commerce team to support us in improving our online distribution channel of decoration and sun screening products. We sell these products online via our own e-shops through our sales companies in more than 30 countries. The central e-commerce team is located at VELUX Headquarters in Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen, and is responsible for developing and implementing our online web-shop strategy internationally as part of our overall multichannel sales strategy for VELUX. Reporting to the global Head of e-commerce, your role will be to give insight and recommendations for online strategies by analysing web statistics and other quantitative and qualitative information such as marketing data, usability results and customer surveys. You will provide professional and detailed knowledge of how our customers behave onsite and online and also help us identify and optimise activities. The challenges You will: Help identify, set and adjust the commercial targets (such as conversion and sales) for VELUX e-business. Analyse and report sales performance on a daily basis based on data from SAP Business Warehouse across all e-markets. Plan and manage alignment of correct tracking across all markets to secure consistency. Develop actionable performance measurements and secure follow up. Ensure that e-commerce has the right and correct set up for web tracking. Conduct web tracking & analysis of e-shops across all markets. Analyze the effectiveness of online marketing across all markets - Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Affiliates, Comparison Sites. Together with relevant stakeholders conduct customer surveys, market research and trend spotting within areas of web technology, decoration and e-commerce in general. Work across different areas and functions, including local sales companies and central Marketing. Your strengths You hold a University degree (preferably in Statistics) and some years' experience from a commercial advisory role (e.g. consultant) and you have a strong command of English (both written and spoken).  You have proven experience with database research, web analysis, customer surveying and analyzing marketing activities (SEO, SEM, e-mail newsletters, Affiliates and Comparison Sites). Knowledge of Multivariate testing (MVT) and A/B testing is an advantage. You demonstrate profound understanding of customer care and usability on the Internet and know about customer surveys and how the results are used to improve the online customer experience. Furthermore, you have qualified knowledge of setting KPI’s for an e-Commerce site. You have excellent analytical and mathematical skills, you are detail-oriented to the core and your structured approach to work enables you to meet deadlines and manage several projects successfully. You are excellent at transforming data in to concrete commercial actions and recommendations. You feel comfortable working with a wide range of individuals with differing personalities and adapt your approach to accommodate those differences and you know the importance of keeping stakeholders up-to-date.
