About the job
As the Competitive Intelligence (CI) manager you will be part of a marketing team whose overall goal is to drive product innovation initiatives and prepare strategic analyses on a product level. You will have responsibility to gather competitor information and identify strengths, weaknesses and strategic direction of Motorola’s competitors in the TETRA marketplace. Further you will identify emerging market trends and propose differentiating product initiatives.

The key deliverables are:

• Proposals for new TETRA products with more compelling and value-adding features
• Intelligence tools for Motorola sales force to win more business
• Emerging market initiatives for TETRA

Expected travelling is about 20 days/year attending trade shows and internal events

Specific Knowledge/Skills Some combined technical and commercial background, e.g. an Export engineering degree or a Bachelors degree in telecommunication or computer science combined with a degree in business administration.

2+ years of business development experience
2+ years of product development experience

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, well structured
Excellent communication and English language skills
