Senior Designer for JACK & JONES - BEIJING, CHINA

For our JACK & JONES team in Beijing, China, we are currently looking for a Senior Designer to manage the development and planning of parts of our JACK & JONES collections.

As a Designer, you need to have a flair for style, colors, and details. On your own initiative, you convert creative ideas into action and thereby contribute to creating a consistent style in our collections.

Areas of responsibility
- Be part of a team that develops and designs products through every phase of development from sketching, fabric and accessory approval, fitting, to the final production
- Collaborate and brainstorm on specified strategic design directions in corporation with our Design Manager
- Analyse sales figures and development needs on specified categories
- Prepare trend presentations, work drawings, prints, and color charts
- Together with the Design Manager constantly ensure upgrade of product groups: pinpoint and improve weak categories, fabric quality, fitting and product to market demands from running analyzes.
- Work closely with buying team and patter maker team.

Qualifications
- You have a degree in fashion design
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in fashion design
- Preferably, your previous work experience is from a men’s wear brand, high street level
- You have the ability to design within JACK & JONES’ demographic
- You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- You can identify new trends and implement this in your work
- You have a good eye for color and composition and you pay attention to details
- You work independently
- You have strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- You have good English skills, both spoken and written
- You are willing to live and work in Beijing, China
- You are interested in working with other cultures
