23/09 Financial Operational Assistant to Renewable Energy Company

For our HQ in Copenhagen we search for a Financial Operational Assistant for a position that reports directly to our COO. The position contains a wide variety of financial assignments that will give a diverse and interesting workload with the responsibility for our day-to-day administration of our solar farms. The newly established position as Financial Operational Assistant is leading to good challenges and in depth knowledge of the business.

The Job: The Financial Operational Assistant must have a strong personal drive and adapt rapidly to new situations. Some of your responsibilities will be following Hands-on orientated:
• Responsible for day-to-day administration of photovoltaic power plants in Southern Europe, including:
o Invoicing of Utilities
o Ensuring that invoices issued are paid
o Approval of invoices received from suppliers
o Communication with local suppliers ensuring that signed contracts are adhered to
o Ensuring that agreed covenants are adhered to, incl. monitoring of DSCR's, cash balances in DSRA's are sufficient etc.
• Assistance with preparation of information/reporting to management, finance institutions etc.
• Assistance with preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, annual accounts etc.
• Assistance with business controlling of operating entities
• Preparation of cash transfers and follow-up on external parties
You have experience with funding and finance. You work methodically and structured are analytical and values solving the tasks in due time and in high quality with a mindset that covers: "Errors are indications of malfunctioning procedures. Therefore errors are not allowed". You operate in a detail oriented manner and are competent at controlling financial material. You have a fact based mindset and strong prioritization skills which enable you to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously and work independently. You possess excellent interpersonal skills helping you to work effectively in teams and are extremely keen on sharing knowledge with colleagues and vigorous about obtaining knowledge relevant for
fulfilling the responsibilities.

Requirements for the position: We imagine that you have some years of documented experience with accounting or controlling. Spanish/Italian (mother tongue) is a necessity in order to fulfil the job - applicants who do not speak one of
these languages fluently will not be taken into consideration. As we work in an international environment English on negotiation level is required – German and Danish is not necessary but an advantage. Well founded knowledge of Excel
(or similar) and basic knowledge of ERP-systems are required. Knowledge of Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing applications is an advantage.
