The Trade Council (TC) is fully integrated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. TC assists and promotes Danish companies’ interests in China. TC consists of 7 different industry teams with around 60 employees in 5 different locations in China. The Energy & Environment Team consist of 14 employees (part or full time). Working from the main representation, The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing, the intern will work as a fully integrated member of the Energy & Environment Team and report directly to the Team Leader as well as to project managers of the group.
We offer a challenging work environment where you need to combine independent work with a high degree of team-work. Your work will include
• Research, data mapping and analysis for the establishment of reports within the Energy & Environment sectors in China
• Chinese Energy & Environment policy mapping
• Participation in editing, writing for and distribution of our newsletter
• Information collection for planning of high level visits between Danish companies and Chinese authorities or companies
If you are a team player with an eye for quality and an extrovert personality and can meet the following required qualifications you should apply for the position:
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to assignments
• Excellent command of Mandarin and English both oral and written
• Majors within Energy & Environment economics, Political science, Economics and MBA students will be a plus
Work hours will be approx. 20 hours/week but with flexibility to adjust weekly scheme according to on-going studies and exams of the intern.
The duration of the internship is one year with possibility of extension.
