Electronic equipment's shall bring China and Denmark closer

Tuesday 4 September the Danish Ambassador to China, Mr. Friis Arne Petersen, met the Chinese consumer electronic giants Hisense and Haier. The meeting was the first step in a wish to expand Chinese-Danish cooperation in the industry.

Cooperation for mutual benefit
China and Denmark have different advantages in the area of televisions, refrigerators, air conditions, mobile phones and other electronic technologies. China has one of the biggest industries in the world, while Denmark is famous for its design solutions. In order for these merits to be combined, the Danish Ambassador travelled to Qingdao and met both companies:

”From Danish side we want to establish a unit in Denmark that will bring the industries in both countries to the next level. Qingdao has some of the biggest and fastest moving Chinese companies in the market. With the functionality and look from Danish design we will be able to move even further and faster.”

Great companies in new dialogue
Hisense and Haier have both been in the industry for 30-40 years and have established a wide range of product lines in the industry. In the last years they have invested globally in markets as the USA, Europe, Africa and Russia. The meetings between the Ambassador and the companies were a breeding ground for dialogue between China and Denmark in the area.
