1205 Sales and Marketing Trainee

The Trainee Program, which starts on 1 September 2009 and ends on 31 August 2011, combines challenging work assignments with demanding and high-quality training sessions. The Markets & Products area, which covers the sales and product development of LEGO Group, is one of the biggest business areas in LEGO Group with approximately 1800 employees in 28 countries.

Hands-on work experience supported by classroom training
The program consists of 4 rotations including a hands-on assignment with the Field Sales Force. In total, you will complete the four different rotations — each lasting 6 months — in units under the Sales, Product Development and Market Operations departments. One of the four rotations will be placed outside Denmark.
To support the practical learning, you will also participate in relevant classroom trainings during each rotation. These trainings range from general introductions to the LEGO Group to more specific trainings focussing on topics like consumer insights and key account management. But also your personal development will be supported by trainings like presentational techniques and time management. Additionally, you will participate in relevant Sales & Marketing conferences. Here you will have a great chance to start building your network.

MSc. in Business Administration with excellent grades and references
You have a MSc. in Business Administration or similar. Additionally, you have some first work experience from either an internship or a student job in a sales or marketing department combined with international experience — e.g. from studying a semester abroad. Your excellent results are visible in your superb grades, references from an internship or equivalent and extra-curriculum activities. With your extrovert personality, high ambition, energy and good communication as well as people skills, you thrive in a challenging environment. You are fluent in Danish and English and geographically mobile.
