Join us at arla.com/career Develop and improve fresh dairy products Based on market and consumer insights your main objective is to develop new and improve existing products within one of the following three product portfolios – milk, yogurt or cooking. The latter counts products like cream, sauces, soups, crème fraiche and cottage cheese. You will join the Global Innovation department for Fresh Dairy Products in Aarhus and report to the Portfolio Director. Your main task will be to develop recipes in cooperation with project management, marketing, dairies and other specialists. You are responsible for driving the development process from pilot plant scale to the final handover to production. As Product Developer within the milk portfolio you also develop private label products for key customers in close cooperation with local marketing departments. In either position you must expect 25-30 travelling days a year as the team is based in Denmark, Sweden and Finland and you cooperate closely with local production sites in Scandinavia and Europe.

MSc. with product development experience You hold a master’s degree within Food Science and Technology, Dairy Technology, Human Nutrition or similar. So far your career path has provided you with sound experience in product development within the food industry. As you will work towards the markets, you must possess a global mind-set and a solid business sense. On a personal level, you are outgoing and comfortable cooperating with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures. Equally important, you possess great communication and interpersonal skills, and you thrive on using your curiosity as a professional tool to develop innovative and value added products. The position requires you to get by in English as well as one or more of the Scandinavian languages.
