Department

Vestas Towers A/S is searching for an Operational Purchase Team Leader for our Process Support department, which is a department placed at our Supply Centre in Esbjerg. The Position is a replacement for a person that has been given new challenges within our organisation. You will be a Team Leader for 5 employees that in general are working within purchasing and planning.




Responsibilities and Tasks

As an Operational Purchase Team Leader you will have the overall responsibility of all buying and planning activities within Supply Centre Europe. This results in the following responsibilities and tasks:
• Responsible for all customer orders will be handled Just In Time.
• Accountable for Key Performance Indicators within the area of responsibility.
• Participate in cross-organizational tasks including Category Management.
• Optimize business processes, strategies and organization.
• Generate a high performing team, by leading and motivating the team of buyers and planners.
• Development of Internal Business Processes and guidelines to optimize operations.




Qualifications and Work Experience

As an Operational Purchase Team Leader you have minimum 3 years of working experience as an Operational Purchase Manager or similar. Furthermore you have the following qualifications:
• Leadership experience and knows how to motivate employees through a direct but friendly manner.
• Good at having the big overview, being visionary and making good results through you employees.
• Experienced MS-Office user, especially MS-Excel and it is preferable that you have ERP experience, with Infor XA/Mapics.
• Preferably you have an educational background within Supply Chain Management, which could be a Diploma in SCM.
• Fluent English in both written and spoken.

Additional Information

Primary work location Vestas Towers A/S - Esbjerg in Denmark, but 30 travel days must be expected in the period.
