Global Marketing, Future Insulin marketing team is looking for a (Senior) Global Product Manager to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include strategic development, business case development and extensive affiliate/regional support. You will frequently be exposed to management in both affiliates and headquarter functions. You will be in situations where you need to set direction and engage/influence others by using own judgement. Based on market and business understanding, you will develop and provide input to launch strategies and tactics. Additionally, you should be proactive both in dealing with stakeholders and management of project milestones. The job offers great learning and development opportunities on products which are key to the future of Novo Nordisk and improving the lives of people with diabetes.

The role will be based in the Degludec Future Insulin marketing team, reporting to the Director of that team, but the successful applicant can also expect to work cross functionally with the DegludecPlus marketing team. If the candidate is able to demonstrate strong strategic management experience he/she will be considered for a Senior PM role. If not he/she will be considered for a PM role. Candidates with recent experience in launching a pharmaceutical brand at global or local market level, either in sales or marketing roles, will be prioritised.

Challenges
The GPM will work to ensure the future success of Degludec and/or DegludecPlus. You will drive relevant projects and be responsible for marketing deliverables according to the Degludec and/or DegludecPlus launch plan. Assess market value and financial opportunities as well as drive positioning and segmentation strategies at either strategic or executional level. Interpret marketing research, conduct forecasting and analysis in order to shape the brand and provide input to clinical development programs. Closely collaborate with stakeholders within affiliates, Global Marketing and Global Development to ensure alignment and awareness of market needs.

It is possible that within the next 1-2 years the role will require the applicant to undertake an extended business trip (3-6 month duration) at a major affiliate.

Qualifications
Relevant business degree and a high level of fluency in English both spoken and written. Minimum 2 years experience in global product management, preferably in product management for a pharmaceutical company. You have strong analytical skills, affiliate experience highly valued and you are motivated and a self-starter. You will have an international/English working environment, so Danish is not essential.
Strong communications skills and English language skills are required. You are able to travel extensively.
