MARKET ACCESS MANAGER
THE COMPANY needs to further strengthen marketing related health economics, pricing and market access activities. From a position in the International Marketing Department located in the Greater Copenhagen area, Denmark, the candidate will work closely together with subsidiaries, Clinical Development and the rest of the International Marketing Department.
THE RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop corporate pricing and reimbursement strategies
- Generation of evidence and analyses to support and validate pricing and reimbursement strategies
- Support and drive development of a strong market access understanding, skills and competences at corporate and affiliate level
- Secure a constant monitoring, development and assessment of market access requirements
- Give input to design and measurements in clinical trials in line with market access strategies and decision maker requirements
- Support and drive issue specific market access task forces
- Possibly coach less experienced people in pricing, reimbursement and market access projects
- Drive development and validation of health economic analyses and their publications
- Create value dossiers and market access support tools in close collaboration with affiliates
- Support affiliates’ implementation and execution of market access strategies through knowledge sharing, workshops and issue specific task forces
- Accommodate affiliates with questions concerning market access and pricing
- Cooperate with external experts and consultants
THE CANDIDATE
- MSc in economics, health economics or equivalent academic degree
- Ability to convincingly drive development validation of pricing and market access strategies based on evidence and analytical support argumentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to establish a good collaboration with internal partners while yet ensuring that important market access issues are highlighted to upper management when agreement cannot be reached
- Preferably at least 2 - 4 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry
- Sense of urgency, proactive, analytical and goal-oriented
- Good sense and experience with political decision making processes
- Motivation from working with short deadlines – being focused on your own tasks and at the same time acting as a team player
- An outspoken sense of quality and the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Fluent in English (oral and written) as the corporate language is English
- Interested in intercultural working relationships
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30 days per year.
