As an Accountant at our Shared Service Center (SSC) in Struer, Denmark, you will play a very important role as the link between the dealers, the local sales organisation and the various functions at the Struer head office.
You and your colleagues will be responsible for all contact with our dealers and will provide them with high-quality support.

Your main tasks will be:
•Responsibility for debitors on (a) specific market(s)
•Credit management handling
•A/R handling (payments, direct debit runs, reminders and interest calculations)
•Bonus calculation and control
•COOP calculation and control
•Pricing issues - maintenance of commercial conditions in the system
•Solve questions related to invoices and credit notes in co-operation with sales supporters
•A/R reporting
•Customer master data maintenance

Department
The newly established Bang & Olufsen SSC function is geographically located in Struer and Madrid, Spain. The Shared Service Center has around 40 employees - 30 in Struer and 10 in Madrid. This position is based in Struer, Denmark.

Your colleagues come from all over Europe, giving the department a very international feel.

Qualifications
To create the required results you need to:
•Have experience from a financial department - especially with Accounts Receivable handling
•Be fluent in English (both written and spoken). It will be an advantage with skills within more of the languages used in the SSC (Dutch, French, German, Danish, Italian, Spanish and Swedish)
•Perseverance in relation to securing payments from customers
•Be service minded:
•You must always focus on the needs of the customer
•Follow guidelines and procedures (and establish new guidelines and procedures when necessary)
•Be level-headed and empathetic
•Establish and maintain an effective network
Though not a requirement, it would be an advantage to have experience within SAP or other ERP systems.
