Background for the Job

Maxonic Shenzhen has invested in Scape Technologies A/S in the beginning of 2015. At the same time, Scape Technologies A/S and Maxonic have started a joint-venture in China called Scape SZ, located in Shenzhen, China. The purpose is to sell SCAPE Bin-Picking systems in the Chinese market.

Job Description

To support the people in Scape SZ, Scape Technologies A/S wants to hire a mandarin speaking person with a technical background as a connection point between Scape Technologies A/S  and Scape SZ. This includes at least 60 workdays at Scape SZ per year. In addition, this person will also be responsible for mechanical design of tailor made hardware for grippers, sensor housings etc. The employment will be full time and will start as soon as possible.

More specifically, the job consists of the following main tasks:

Tasks related to direct support of Scape SZ:

-          Assisting Scape SZ with technical sale which includes evaluation of customer cases, configurations and layouts.

-          Assisting Scape SZ with customer specific hardware solutions and constructions.

-          Customer service 2nd line support for Scape SZ

Tasks in Scape Technologies A/S in general:

-          Communication of changes and updates to the SCAPE product based on input from Scape SZ (to adjust the SCAPE product to the Chinese market)

-          Design of mechanical parts and creation of construction drawings.

-          Communication with sub-contractors producing the parts, this includes quality control.

In the daily work, you will report directly to the CTO of Scape.

Scape Technologies is located in Odense, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer (Master degree)
• Experience with 3D CAD programs
• Fluent in writing and speaking Chinese and English
  

Experience

• Preferably 1-3 years of work experience as a mechanical engineer                        
  

Skills

• Good communication skills
• Capable of bridging the culture difference between Danish and Chinese people
• Must be able to work independently and handle many tasks at the same time
