Dolmens are stone age graves built by the first Danish peasents around 3600-3200 B.C. They were built as graves for the leading members of society. Also in later periods of prehistoric time, people re-used the dolmens as burial-places. After that period they were believed to be trolls homes or pagan alters. (This one are in danish called TROLDKIRKEN = the church of trolls - situated 10 km from Aalborg) 丹麦巨石阵位于奥尔堡西侧，并出现在1983年的邮票上。邮票图案与图1、图6相似。
