14/10 QA Manager, Lunderskov, Danmark

Our Test Department is looking for a QA Manager to be based in the test department in Lunderskov, Denmark.

The test department is responsible for all types of testing from couponlevel to full scale blade testing. The current organisation in the testdepartment consists of 14 white collar and 28 blue collars. We operatein a QA system run independently from the global LM Glasfiber system inorder to ensure the necessary accreditations.

The main missions of the role are:
• Manage and develop the Test Management System
• Ensure continuous improvements of the operational processes and procedures
• Support the LSS implementation with special focus on the control of the processes

Day to day activities:
• Ensure the development and maintenance of the system
• Ensure audits of the system, internal as well as external
• Ensure the management (registration and calibration) of all measuring equipment
• Assign and authorise signatory rights to test engineers
• Responsible for the laboratories Test Management System
• Calculation and documentation of uncertainty budgets
• Approve validation reports
• Carry out ad hoc quality work
• Schedule round robin DNS

Special activities
• Lead the analysis and development of the TMS
• Oversee and manage the transition into MEGA
• To manage the implementation of process controlling documents withsignificantly increased level of detail and interdependency
• Manage the accreditation of the material test department
• Actively support the development of the business processes applied in blade test group

Internal/external communication tasks:
• Coordinating internal and external audits
• Contact between LM and DANAK and other certifying buddy’s

• Quality

Qualifications:
• M.SC or B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Experience in the structuring and organisation of QA processes. Polymer chemistry and/or mechanics of composite materials
• In depth understanding of business processes.
