14/10 External Communication Specialist

Lundbeck’s Corporate Communication department is looking for an External Communication Specialist who can help strengthen the dialogue with the company’s external stakeholders.

Corporate Communication is responsible for Lundbeck’s media relations and internal corporate communication worldwide. The department works closely with Lundbeck’s Investor Relations department in order to ensure consistent and business-aligned communication with all of Lundbeck’s stakeholders. The Corporate Communication and Investor Relations departments have a total of 11 highly committed and specialized full-time employees. We strive to be among the best communication departments in Denmark and in the pharmaceutical industry in general. We benchmark our performance to ensure that we achieve our ambitious targets.

It is our ambition to ensure open, honest and effective communication that helps create positive relations between Lundbeck and our stakeholders. As a new employee, you will play a pivotal role in the translation of this ambition into practice.

Your job
You will participate in the continued implementation of Lundbeck’s overall communication strategy, thereby positioning Lundbeck not only as a strong company and major employer but also as a creditable and active player within CNS diseases and research.

You will locate and produce stories within the organisation that can be proactively communicated to external audiences while also assisting in servicing members of the press to further strengthen Lundbeck’s positive relationship with the media and other external stakeholders.

You are enthusiastic about external corporate communication and you are capable of communicating quickly, creatively and clearly.

Qualifications
Our preferred candidate has the following profile:

• You are a qualified journalist with some years of experience, preferably from news media and/or a political organisation
• You have a clear grasp of external communication
• You have good oral and written communication skills in Danish and English
• You are ambitious and assertive but also a flexible, service-minded team player
• You are an enterprising initiator as well as a finisher and you are respected by your colleagues and business partners.
