Leading producer of branded food supplementsOur client is a leading producer of supplements, dietetic foods and wellness cosmetics. With 200 employees on two German sites it is the widely independent subsidiary of a large Southern European group. With its own brands it is active in the German retail as well as in specialized sales channels and exports to more than 40 different countries. The headquarter is located in Hamburg, Germany.

The jobowner reports to the local managing director and manages the complete marketing department. He/she is responsible for the active development of national and international marketing strategies as well as the active brand management for the whole product range. This includes the necessity to implement a new long-term marketing plan and to develop new price and assortment strategies. Beside that the Head of Marketing is also responsible for the realignment and the steering of the extensive BTL-activities. The challenge of this position lays in the spread between strategic and operative marketing tasks.

We are interested in receiving your application if you own an university degree or have an equivalent practical background. You should have experience in relevant marketing positions combined with at least a small leadership experience. It is mandatory to have experience in the marketing of branded sports goods or at least to have a credible personal athletic lifestyle combined with a high interest in sporting goods. Additionally you should have a very high brand affiliation and should be experienced both with the development of strategic marketing plans as well as successful BTL-activities. You should be used to the special negotiation habits and demands of the retail industry and should be able to connect to a strong established sales team. Your profile is completed by the ability to deal with other nationalities and your good IT-skills. You should speak very good English and at least a satisfactory German. An additional language will be considered a plus. Personally you should be communicative, pragmatic and possess a positive personal charisma.
