Saturday evening, 180 Danes gathered at Radisson Blu for a Danish Christmas buffet with roast pork, rice pudding, Carlsberg beer and Danish liquor “snaps”.
The embassy’s employees deliberately applied the world renowned Danish sense of humour to ensure an evening with joy and fun. The guests experienced the Embassy’s Christmas Gangnam style, movie quiz and lucky draw for a Scandinavian Airlines ticket to Denmark.
Sunday afternoon, 60 children and 70 adults participated in the Christmas mass given by the Danish Chaplain in Hong Kong, Hans-Åge Koller, and the Christmas tree party with the Danish Lucia performance, as well as dancing around the Christmas tree and of course Santa Claus stopped by with goodie bags for the children. As per tradition the LEGO area was well received among children and adults alike.
