The Epidemiology department in Novo Nordisk A/S seeks a student(approx. 15 hours a week) to join our team, located in Søborg, Denmark.We are a team of 8 Epidemiologists with different backgrounds. Weprovide specialized epidemiological assistance to many differentstakeholders within Novo Nordisk. Our tasks span across projects,therapeutic areas and departments, and among others they include;support to development projects, safety and surveillance issuesincluding signal detection and risk management plans, as well aspost-marketing studies.


Challenges
You will support the Epidemiologists in their role of analysing andcommunicating statistical or epidemiological data within theorganisation. Most of the tasks will be within post-marketing studies.This includes support to validation of data, analysing data andpreparation of presentations. Furthermore you will be involved inmaintaining and further developing our department web-page.


Qualifications
You are halfway through your study (e.g. on 3rd or 4th year), and havea strong interest in and understanding of statistics and epidemiology.You are fluent in spoken and written English and proficient in MSOffice, particularly Excel and Powerpoint. Furthermore knowledge ofSPSS or SAS is an advantage. You have excellent interpersonal skillsand are collaborative while at the same time you are able to workindependently.
