Royal Danish Embassy launches new art initiative

When visiting the Embassy in the future the art on the walls will not necessary be Danish. The biggest and newly build meeting facility at Danish Embassy will from today be a new platform for young talented Chinese artist to express their thoughts trough art.

“To exhibit and display their art, they reach a new and important audience. Many Danish business people, politicians, diplomats, and students will get the opportunity to see what happens on the Chinese art scene,” says Danish Ambassador, Friis Arne Petersen.

Li Yiwen was born in 1982, he is from Luoyang, and has received his education from Central Academy of Fine Arts.
“I think it’s a really good event to communicate with people to let them know the art of the young artist like me. My works are usually focusing on questioning the reality, history, and the existence,” says Li Yiwen.
