LEGO MINDSTORMS is an area of strategic importance to the LEGO Group and spearheads our efforts within technology-driven toys. We have high ambitions for the future of LEGO MINDSTORMS, in which you will play a key role. You will be based in our Product & Marketing Development department in Billund, Denmark.

Global marketing responsibility for MINDSTORMS
With reference to the Sr. Marketing Director you will have the global responsibility for managing the MINDSTORMS brand. This includes managing the existing product portfolio and being an integral part of developing new MINDSTORMS products. You gain a broad network of internal and external contacts, and in cooperation with the Design Manager and the Project Manager you lead the project team to deliver on agreed objectives.

You are responsible for the product line programme for MINDSTORMS, and you manage and develop innovative marketing and communication strategies. Also, you drive the development of campaign strategies including communication and packaging design. In order to continuously be on top of consumer insights and trends in the technical toy market, you interact closely with developers as well as markets and consumers.

Strong commercial mindset and technical insight
Your MSc in Business Administration, e.g. within Marketing, is backed by international experience from a position within Marketing or Product Management with consumer goods as pivotal point. To fully grasp the potential of the MINDSTORMS product and brand your commercial background must be combined with technical insight. As a person you are characterised as creative, visionary and customer driven, which enable you to target consumers through innovative marketing solutions. Further, you are results-oriented, and you thrive on having a large degree of independent responsibility. Your outgoing and cooperative nature enable you to build strong networks – both internally and externally. Finally, you have a good command of both written and verbal English.
