Description
Lundbeck is seeking to appoint a Medical Marketing Manager to work in the Neurology division, Strategic Marketing based at Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. The position will focus primarily on working with Azilect medical and marketing activities within the Parkinson’s disease.
Strategic marketing has the responsibility for development and implementation of global commercial strategies for our products including life cycle plans and activities. Strategic marketing works closely with number of other functions including clinical research, regulatory, pricing and reimbursement, business development and other departments.
Your job - Medical Marketing Manager
In your role as Medical Marketing Manager for Azilect you will be responsible and involved in a number of Azilect medical and marketing activities such as input into commercial strategy development and implementation, KOL activities including advisory boards, scientific program development for international congresses and meetings, clinical studies and scientific publications, medical training and development of various medical materials etc.
You will be part of neurology team and report to the International Medical Marketing Director heading the medical marketing team. The Medical marketing team within neurology currently consist of four colleagues working with Azilect and Ebixa.
You will be in frequent contact with colleagues from across other functions within strategic marketing and new products, research & development, business development and subsidiaries as well as partners, requiring good abilities to work in cross-functional teams. Due to the international nature of the job, there will be substantial travel activity.
Your qualifications

• You are a qualified neurologist, psychiatrist or medical doctor with experience within CNS diseases, preferably but not necessarily with previous experience from similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• You have a good commercial understanding, and proven abilities in product strategy and communication plan development
• You have basic knowledge of statistics and can analyse and interpret clinical data
• You are a good communicator comfortable in presenting medical and commercial messages to small and large audiences
• You must be able to work effectively in an exciting, dynamic, global and cross-functional environment, and be able to adapt to different situations and have the ability to work individually, whilst also being a good team player
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
• International experience is an asset
