1505 In-country Market Research Analyst Denmark

Euromonitor International seeks an In-Country Market Research Analyst to work on a per project basis from a home-office reporting on consumer goods markets in Denmark. Reporting to project managers in our London and Vilnius office, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the research process, from personal visits to stores, to secondary source information-gathering, trade interviewing, report-writing and data manipulation, validation and analysis.

The successful candidate will be located in Denmark must be able to work from home, and have access to a PC (Windows) and the Internet (ideally a broadband connection). Time commitments can vary depending on the project – however, a minimum commitment of at least 20-35 hours a week is necessary for most projects.

Specific requirements:

·          Trade interviewing skills

·          High level of numeracy

·          Familiarity with consumer goods markets in Denmark

·          Fluency in oral and written English and Danish  language is essential

·          Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Chosen candidates will be required to complete both a numeracy and a writing test as part of the selection process.

Required Experience

A strong background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, demonstrate a can do attitude, be able to work independently and be tenacious in their pursuit of information..
