Would you like a key position at one of the world’s most successful advertising agencies? Can you spot trends and transform your astute consumer insights into effective creative strategies?

We’re looking for a strong Strategic Planner. Someone who wants to work in-depth and long term with one of the world’s strongest and most successful consumer brands. With children as your primary target group, you’ll gain extensive knowledge of their behaviour and convert this into media and communication strategies on a truly global level. You’ll play a central role in helping us to shape the LEGO group’s commercial communication for the coming decade.

Where?

Based in Billund at the heart of the LEGO Company, you’ll be supported in your work by over 75 enthusiastic colleagues who make up LEGO’s InHouse Agency. With offices in Denmark and the US, we develop over 85% of the global campaign material that’s created for the LEGO Group. That’s everything from the initial concept development to TV content, advertising and the product packaging on the shelves in the stores.

What?

As our Strategic Planner, you’ll be expected to immerse yourself in the world of children. How are they developing? What media are they using? What are they looking for? More importantly, you’ll be able to mine this data to discover the key insights that will drive our strategic and creative work.

At the same time, our continued success as an agency is based upon our sustained creativity, and you’ll play a vital role in raising the creative bar for the agency as a whole. Using your wide-ranging contacts in and out of the company, you’ll be pivotal in establishing knowledge sharing processes that will guarantee a solid foundation for our creative decisions.

You are?

It goes without saying that you are highly motivated, enthusiastic and inquisitive, and have the ability to interact easily with our consumers, agency customers and the creative teams.

With a theoretical or commercial academic background, you’ve already got substantial experience working with a planning function or communication strategies in an advertising agency.
