The Procurement organization at our global head office in Brande, Denmark, is expanding its activities, and we are therefore looking for a Global Commodity Manager for the area of Mechanicals Procurement. In this position you will report to the Head of Procurement for Mechanical Components. Work Assignments As a Global Commodity Manager you will be responsible for strategic procurement and for striving for the best in a world-class procurement department. More specifically, your assignments will cover: • Designing and defining the strategy for your commodity, considering short, medium and long term scenarios and risks • Organizing and executing global, regional and cross-regional bundling of the demands of the different sites/segments • Analyzing demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the best sourcing strategy • Being responsible for the selection of suppliers and undertaking supplier development and management • Conducting price and contract negotiations to guarantee security of suppliers on the best conditions • Working closely with the Project Management, Engineering and Quality departments Your Profile You have a strong technical and commercial background. Experience in the area of procurement and/or supply chain management is appreciated. Furthermore, experience in project management would be an advantage. You are a skilled negotiator with strong strategic skills, and you are proactive and result-oriented with a structured approach to complex tasks. You are a dedicated team player, but also capable of working independently, and you thrive in an intercultural environment. Additionally, you possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing. Interested?
