Come join Hewlett-Packard, the founder of Silicon Valley and leader in nearly every major market in which it competes.  We are looking for highly talented people to contribute to HP's storied success.

Lead and participate within HP's high-impact M&A Integration team where your superior rigor, analytics and communications skills will be challenged to deliver acquisition integration predictability as a result of HP's non-organic growth strategy.  Leverage your experience in management consulting, M&A integration or prior large scale transformations to help HP successfully capture value, drive growth and increase market leadership through acquisitions.

You will join a team that is a 'meritocracy' that appeals to, and rewards, high achievers. Your success breeds success, as your network of contacts will expand across HP's operating model (Business Unit's and functions) - making presentations to VP, SVP and on occasion EVP and CEO levels.  Your success paves the way for entry into one of the HP businesses, or promotion inside the M&A Integration and Strategy & Corporate development team.

Responsibilities
The Director, of M&A Integration will be accountable for leading acquisitions from strategy development through execution. The director will serve as an influential leader in the M&A Integration team ultimately helping to shape of HP' industry leading practice and competency in mergers and acquisitions. In specific the director will:

Partner with VP's and SVP's across HPs businesses to shape and execute operational execution plans for all acquisitions in their respective business group and become a trusted advisor along the way.

Develop and execute a complete integration framework, plan and metrics management for all acquisitions with the respective business group.

Deliver a repeatable and sustainable integration model ultimately incorporating all aspects required of driving acquisition success for the business.

Lead a portfolio of acquisition integrations for the given business unit and exert your leadership position to drive improved business performance through a high disciplined scorecard review process.

Participate and lead integration due diligence efforts in line with the corporate development and acquisition diligence teams.

Shape the usage of integration best practices, tools, processes within HP's Center of Excellence for M&A to continually improve acquisition performance deal after deal.

Be seen and act as an influential leader in a team environment both within the Corporate Development and M&A Integration teams and with business unit and function partners/customers

Develop M&A Integration Senior Managers and Associates to enhance their skills and capabilities through project work and one-to-one coaching.




Qualifications

MBA, demonstrable equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years (or 12+ years overall experience), post-MBA, strategy and operations consulting experience, within a management consulting firm, advising, coaching, leading -  with quantifiable success.
Directly formed and managed teams in acquisition integrations ranging from small to large deals.
Directly managed people in delivering in strategy and operations at the corporate level in Fortune 500 companies;

Expertise in information technology and industries in which HP competes
Superior financial acumen
Superior problem solving skills
Demonstrated leadership in building and leading acquisitions with domain expertise in a given area (e.g. - sales, market, operations, etc)
Demonstrated leadership skills in a team setting
Demonstrated ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
Superior change management skills
Exceptional project management skills
Superior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
