Working in the Indirect Procurement Department in Denmark.
Operational accountabilities:
•
Analyses spend across the entire NEC organisation. Spend analysis is thus made on all departments and product categories are described in order to consolidate and categorize spending.
•
Recommendations are made to the Indirect Procurement Department as to which spending areas could and should be prioritized.
•
Assist Sourcing Managers in the department on larger sourcing projects
•
Participate in the implementation of global agreements which have been concluded by BAT Regional- or Global Procurement.
•
Follow up on savings in order to document return of investment.
•
Sourcing projects tailored to your skills and experiences are completed
•
Communicate the Indirect Procurement to key stakeholders, who have budget responsibility, in the BAT NEC organisation.
Skills:
•
Some experience from a procurement department
•
Commercial thinking and experience
•
Ability to analyse and describe an area which is unknown.
•
Works with a strong degree of methodology
•
Strong MS Excel skills
If you have experience working in an international organizational environment and knowledge of SAP, this will be an advantage.
Education:
Equivalent to an academic degree. For example Cand. merc. – supply chain, HD, a university degree, a BSc in a relevant field or another relevant degree.

This position reports directly to Head of Indirect Procurement, BAT NEC
All 5 team members of the Indirect Procurement department are located in Søborg.
As Procurement in BAT is evolving to an above market function this role will cease to exist in within 1, 5 to 3 years. The candidate will, be in an excellent position to seek other roles within BAT.
There will only be limited travel activity.
