0703 Procurement Business Analyst & Coordinator

Danfoss Global Procurement Indirect plans and follows up on purchasing activities on indirect materials that are not directly related to our products and services. By working closely with internal stakeholders, users and suppliers we are overall responsible for procurement of all indirect spend which are categories within: Production, Administration & IT, Transportation & Facilities and Capex. We also have a group that is specialised in Make-Buy projects related to outsourcing of non production cost. Our main goal is to reduce Danfoss’ total costs.
We are currently looking for a new colleague to collect and coordinate projects together with the category teams, prepare pipeline project targets, evaluate gaps and develop strategies with category managers to close such gaps. The job involves a variety of tasks such as data management, strategy planning, activity follow up and involves regular contact and cooperation within the Danfoss organisation, as well with external stakeholders.

Your ability to structure data will enable you to play an important role in providing the category managers with relevant and correct information, and help them make the best decisions that can meet Danfoss’ overall goals.
This is why we expect that your background is minimum a bachelor in economics with 3 years relevant experience. You work independently with your eye trained on the overall goal and communicate easily with people on all levels in an organisation, in English and Danish, as this is our working language. You are well acquainted with data collection and interpretation, and are able to communicate findings so they are understood easily.
In the position you will develop a deep understanding of Danfoss’ organisation and how we handle procurement, including our tools for data collection, analysis and reporting. This will provide a strong foundation for developing your ability to facilitate workshops and propose strategy initiatives, while building a strong network within the Danfoss organisation.
