For Global Sourcing in Hørsholm, we are looking for a Category Manager, who will join a team that is primarily responsible for Sourcing and Category Management of Indirect expenditures. Global Sourcing is responsible for coordinating sourcing activities for the company’s international production units. We are 14 dedicated employees at the headquarters in Hørsholm and 9 employees split on our companies in Europe, USA and South America, respectively. Your tasks Your main task is to be ultimately responsible for managing and measuring value delivery in terms of continuous cost improvement, working capital releases, complexity management, supply base restructuring and compliance to policies.   You work cross-functionally to establish and implement sourcing strategies You undertake and lead/facilitate supplier negotiations and relationship-building to obtain best value You undertake category management and other sourcing activities You assist with the development and management of supplier portfolios and establishment of structured supplier relationships You monitor supplier market profiles You establish and maintain preferred supplier lists, corporate contracts, and framework agreements You provide reports and manage information/data as required for procurement and/or corporate purposes including handover packages for procurement implementation Your personal profile 3 to 5 years of business experience, preferably in Non- product Related sourcing, or alternatively in complex and highly fragmented sourcing environments Multi-functional background, typically including engineering and operations B.S. in Business Administration or Industrial Management or any other combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position International exposure Experience in consumer goods companies is an advantage Fluent English in both written and spoken You are a good strategic thinker and an analytically strong, numerate person You are a strong negotiator and refined communicator and must be capable of working with people on all levels in the organization and cross-functionally We offer A position that will provide you with exciting challenges and opportunities to work independently in a pioneering and dynamic environment.
