04/01 Domestic help for household

Astrup Gods is a lager estate on Zealand, who is looking for domestic help for their household. They need someone, who has a good grasp on all kinds of housework.


The family consists of 2 adults and 5 adult children, who are living away with their partners and a total of 11 grandchildren, 2 dogs and 2 horses. Therefore you need to be happy, stable and appreciate that there at times can be very lively in the house. Sometimes you need to take care of our 2 well-mannered hunting dogs.

Main duties:
Light cleaning
light cooking
Purchasing
Occasionally looking after 2 dogs and
watering at larger events and other task
Astrup Gods is surrounded by very beautiful nature, one hour’s drive from Copenhagen. We are looking for an independent person, who together with our permanent cleaner will help us with everything from laundry and cleaning to easier cooking and serving. When we are hosting larger events we will supply with extra help after need. The job is a full time job with an average working hour of 37 hours a week.

We provide a nice house, (old Danish half-timbering) approx. 100 m2 in the area at your disposal.
Astrup Gods employs 15 to 20 employees.

We imagine that you have some experience from a similar job. You have been a housekeeper or matron, or you have some experience from other related jobs. Salary is negotiated individual and will match your qualifications. You need to speak English and/or Danish. If you do not speak the Danish language, you have to be interested and willing to learn it. We expect you to be hard-working, flexible and to have a good spirit.

A driver license is necessary due to among others purchasing. A none smoker will be preferred. Perhaps we will be able to find a job for your husband/partner at the estate as well.
