04/01 Oticon Medical is looking for a new colleague in audiology

We can make a big difference with bone-anchored hearing aids: for people who would normally have no possibility of hearing, bone-anchored hearing aids will now give them that possibility! If you have a background as a speech and language therapist, audiologist or similar and you want to be a part of the development of bone-anchored hearing aids, then this could be the job for you.

The job
You will join a versatile team which specialises in specific solutions for the hard of hearing with particular needs. We work with children's needs, wireless communication and bone-anchored hearing aids. Work with bone-anchored hearing aids is a completely new area for Oticon, and you will therefore contribute to laying the foundation stones. In addition to your work with bone-anchored hearing aids, you will in time work within the field pertaining to children.

Your primary tasks will be:
- To give input to the development of apparatus and software
- To test apparatus
- To develop protocols, questionnaires and test materials
- To influence the development of new knowledge, particularly within the area of bone-anchored hearing aids.

The field of bone-anchored hearing aids is not only new to Oticon. Only a few people in the world have an in-depth knowledge of this area - and you could become one of them!

Competences
- You are a speech and language therapist or audiologist.
- You have experience of hearing aid fitting and client contact, especially in connection with bone-anchored solutions or with children and their parents.
- You want to contribute to the development of an area in its start phase and to have tasks relating to the needs of children in your later work.
- You have an interest in and a flair for getting to know about hearing aid technology and FM system technology.
- You like to work with other professional groups.
- You think and work independently - and creatively.
- You can speak and write Danish – or is willing to learn. Further you are able to communicate in English – both written and orally.
