22/11 Purchaser (Spare parts, Maintenance and Service)

VELUX A/S is seeking to recruit an ambitious and talented Purchaser to join a newly established procurement team within the VELUX Group. You will support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies mainly for spare parts, maintenance and service across VELUX supply areas in Europe. The challenges Working as part of the team you will: Negotiate commercial contracts on spare parts, maintenance and service Identify new supplier opportunities Manage the competitive tender process Drive the implementation of strategies on maintenance, service and spare parts Establish spend data overview on categories Ensure structure and validity in supplier base Optimize working processes in close cooperation with suppliers and VELUX factories You should expect to travel approximately 20-30 days a year in Europe. Your strengths You will have strong interpersonal skills and can operate in an international environment; furthermore you are expected to be a good team player. You are a fairly experienced purchaser with confidence in negotiation. You should have a good command of Danish and English, verbally and in writing. Good IT/PC skills required (MS Office). Experience of Non Product Related (NPR) purchasing and technical good understanding would be beneficial.
