Based upon FURUNO’s growing activities within maritime Broadband Satellite Communication Systems, we
established a new company FURUNO BROADBAND SERVICE CENTER in Copenhagen, Denmark for
servicing our customers and distributors in the EMEA region and in USA.
FURUNO BROADBAND SERVICE CENTER (FBS) will be responsible for development, expansion and
maintenance of FURUNO’s technological excellence within Maritime Communication including marketing,
support and traffic accounting for our maritime mobile satellite communication systems counting INMARSAT
and VSAT systems.
FBS will, in corporation with our parent Company FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., Ltd, Japan and FURUNO’s
distribution network be responsible for introduction and promotion of new operationally effective products
and services acting as a centralized customer service and Network Operating Center supervising satellite
connectivity, bandwidth utilization etc.
To secure the fast growth of our Maritime Broadband business and for reaching our ambitious goals for FBS,
we are looking for a motivated professional Secretary/Traffic Accounting Assistant.
Functions and responsibilities
• Traffic accounting, registration and billing.
• Administration of Traffic account contracts.
• Marketing.
• Book keeping activities.
• Basic secretarial functions.

Qualifications and profile of candidate:
• Experience from a position as sales secretary.
• Interest in and knowledge of general sales activities.
• Interest and knowledge of WEB systems.
• Experience and interest in marketing.
• Experience with Navision ERP system.
• Innovative, open-minded, flexible and ambitious.
• Excellent command of English both verbal and in writing.
