For our Group Supply Chain department in Bredebro we are looking for a Graduate Trainee to join our two-year trainee program within Supply Chain.
You will get a good business understanding and insight in ECCO’s value chain through a combination of on-the-job-training in our headquarters in Denmark and stationing in our sales and production units abroad. The stays in our sales and production units will be part of the trainee program and each stay may last up to 6 months meaning that you should expect to travel abroad for a shorter or longer period of time. Furthermore we expect that you have a good understanding of different cultures. As a Graduate Trainee you will be working in a dynamic environment where continuous improvements are initiated for the entire supply chain. You should find it challenging to participate in the initiation of such improvements and be prepared for a busy working day with involvement in cross-functional projects. A typical Graduate Trainee program will be as follows: Year 1: Mainly training in ECCO’s headquarters in Denmark and subsequently a stay in one of our production units abroad Year 2: Mainly stays abroad – at first in one of our sales regions and subsequently in another production unit . You will develop both personally and professionally during the trainee program and you will get a large international network of dedicated colleagues. When having finished the trainee program you will be able to manage many challenging and diverse tasks within the supply chain of an international business.
JOB PROFILE:
Your overall objectives will be:
Involvement in optimisation of the value chain including improved transparancy of the value chain
Capacity planning and risk control on product level
Cost optimisation across the value chain
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Education within Supply Chain Management or Logistics at master level
Analytical and talent for calculations
Good cooperation and communication skills
Ambitious and hard-working
Understanding of integration and connection in the value chain
Speak and write English fluently
Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
It is important that you are adaptable and prepared to look for improvements and work with these. Finally you should be able to work under pressure and still keep the overview.
