1707 PhD-Scholarship in Energy Consumption and Green Products

A PhD Scholarship is available at the Department of Environmental andBusiness Economics at University of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg.

The Department of Environmental and Business Economics is part of theFaculty of Social Sciences. Within the area of business economics thedepartment has research groups in organization and management, and inmarketing.

The focus of this PhD project is on energy consumption and green- (orenvironmentally friendly) products. Emphasis is given to a broadmicroeconomic/marketing approach to investigations of consumerbehavior, in particular, factors that influence consumer preferencesand willingness to pay for green products, such as green electricityand low emission and/or energy saving vehicles, that is productssupplying both a private characteristic and an environmental publiccharacteristic.

The scholarship is available to students who have completed a M.Sc. inbusiness administration, economics, econometrics or other related orrelevant field.
