Department
Vestas Towers A/S is looking for a Surface Treatment Specialist for ourProduction Development department. You will be colleague to 10competent people in our Production Development department in Varde.With increasing global operations, there is now a need for a controllerto ensure a continuously improvement and development of the surfacetreatment area.

Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Surface Treatment Specialist your major responsibility will be toact as a production expert within production facilities, processes andequipment for tower production – especially within surface treatment.This results the following responsibilities and tasks:
• Development and approval of new painting systems and technical purchase specifications for surface treatment
• Development and implementation of new processes and equipment for blasting, metallization and painting
• Contribute to preparation of feasibility studies and establishment of new factories and production units
• Contribute to purchasing, installation and commissioning of production equipment and tools
• Documentation of production processes and facilitate technologytransfer of production methods, process flow and production equipmentbetween existing and new factories as well as external tower suppliers
• Facilitation of technical support for factories and suppliers within surface treatment

Qualifications and Work Experience
It would be preferable if you have a background asNACE/FROSIO-Inspector, Mechanical/Chemical engineer or similartechnical education. Furthermore you have the following qualifications:
• Extensive experience in processes and equipment for surface treatment
• Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma and TPM manufacturing
• Familiar in use of MS-office and MS-Project
• English on negotiation level both verbal and written
• International experience

Additional Information
Primary workplace is at Vestas Towers A/S - Varde in Denmark, butapproximately 100 international travel days a year must be expected.
