Dell is looking for a Client Product Manager to the Large Enterprise organisation in Denmark.

You will drive for aggressive, profitable growth of the Client product lines of business (OptiPlex, Latitude, Precision, etc.) by combining all elements of the marketing mix, leveraging Dell sales, marketing and reporting resources across the Large Enterprise organisation to meet Dell’s business objectives.

Sales Enablement
  • Delivery of in-country product, program and competitive (local market insights) training
  • Assisting with key strategic RFP responses (including Vendor Funding support)
  • Providing client expertise in-country as and when the situation dictates
  • Supporting regular Sales huddles or calls in conjunction with other in-country marketing colleagues
  • Coordination and communication on critical product issues (PFR, EOL transitions, Shortages)

Customer Engagement
  • Where possible provide account teams with information and presentations for customer meetings, including product roadmaps, product positioning, competitor overview, key changes, market share, etc.
  • Assisting account teams with key customer engagements taking the SME role in customer meetings
  • Articulating Dell’s vision for Client Solutions and outlining the timelines and reasoning behind the makeup for the LOB roadmap in question

Business Management
  • Analyse, report regularly on and proactively implement actions to keep performance in line with forecasts for Client lines of business (LoB)
  • Provide input to the quarterly forecast planning process for Client LoBs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the local market (Market share, Competitor activity, Price Banding trends)
  • Communicate any list price or cost moves that may affect Dell’s market position in-country
  • Provide input to the central Pricing team on pricing strategy for Client LoBs

Program Support
  • Work with in-country marketing colleagues to put together in-country launch plans for new product launches
  • Work with in-country marketing colleagues to ensure integrated Marketing programmes are in place to address markets of opportunity for your LoBs
  • Support external brand and market development for your LoBs via PR and press contacts
  • Support customer and product-related events that Marketing team may be involved in

Qualifications


Qualifications:
  • Experience in using various available resources to drive and motivate those around you towards achieving a common goal
  • At least 2 years in a similar role within Dell or with a competitor or partner
  • Experience in managing and marketing complex products is a must, including product introductions, EOL, pricing, etc.
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in marketing or other relevant environment
  • Product knowledge on Dell and competitor Desktop and Notebook PC products
  • Has a proven track record in interfacing with customers
  • Demonstrated business management skills through effective planning, organisation of daily work schedule and achievement of assigned targets and objectives
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and capable of working comfortably with people up, down and sideways within Dell.
  • Confidence in working with numbers and a strong understanding of the competition and the PC market in Denmark
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills are essential
