Customer Service

Vestas Control Systems A/S is one of the 14 business units at Vestas Wind Systems A/S. We are responsible for the development and production of all electronics and control systems for Vestas wind turbines worldwide.
In Vestas Control Systems, we work consciously with an involving model of leadership and cooperation as we wish to ensure the continuous development of you and your team. We are in this aspect also strongly focused on retaining a high level of employee satisfaction in order to deliver the best products and the best results.

Customer Service is one of three departments in Logistics and Planning in Supply Chain Management in Vestas Control Systems A/S. Customer Service is the link between the external customers and the internal organisation and is the one point of entry into the Controls organisation.
The department's primary responsibility is order handling and inquiry management with focus on our customers and communication. Customer Service represents the corporate image of Control Systems, supporting customers as well as internal partners.


Responsibilities and Tasks

As Customer Service assistant you will report to Customer Service Manager, Helle Haubo Bruse, and your primary responsibilities and tasks will be to:
  • Deliver excellent customer service in order to improve and maintain our customer loyalty
  • Exist as first point of contact for all Control Systems' internal customers (other Vestas business units) who use our products and services
  • Receive and handle customer orders, concerns and requests
  • Invoice, credit and maintain price books and other master data databases
  • Support our customers and internal partners
  • Focus and contribute to the continuous improvement of both general work routines and formal procedures
  • Participate in improvement projects, with customers as well as internal partners
  • Handle multiple fixed, daily tasks concerning customer issues

Your role as Customer Service Assistant will be to ensure that our customers experience the highest level of service by offering state of the art customer service.

Qualifications and Work Experience

Your educational background is not the deciding factor, but we would like you to hold a business diploma (2-3 year education) or the like and to have experience from a similar professional background.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is dedicated towards providing the highest standard of service and who demonstrates unique customer service skills
  • Is capable of and enjoys working individually, but who also enjoys being part of a team
  • Is self-driven, takes initiative and is action oriented towards continuous improvements
  • Has excellent communication skills in English and in Danish (in written and speech) Additional language(s) is an advantage
  • Has an analytical and structured mindset
  • Works persistently and can keep calm while prioritizing own tasks in a busy environment
  • Is detail oriented and organized with a high focus on quality


Experience with Infor XA would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
